Use clear transfer tape to move your design from the vinyl backing to the glass.
Use the least amount of tape as possible.
Being that glass conducts heat very well and is not coated it s totally possible to apply heat transfer vinyl to glass.

It can be difficult to smoothly attach vinyl designs to curved surfaces like drinking glasses vases or cars.
Use a craft brush to spread the transfer medium so that your fingers stay clean.
As you peel the vinyl should come off the backing with the transfer tape.
So cut the tape and the backing down as close to the vinyl as you can before peeling off the tape to transfer it to the glass.
Before applying vinyl clean the surface it ll be attached to and mark out your design with tape or a grease pencil.
Once you have the transfer tape on use a scraper tool or an old gift card to scrape over the design to make sure the transfer tape is adhering to the vinyl nice and tight.
That will give the vinyl time to adhere and the adhesive to activate.

Peel up a little and if it s now stuck to the glass instead of the transfer paper then you re all set.
Rub a layer of gel transfer medium onto the glass.
Apply a generous layer of transfer medium to the section of glass that you ll apply the image to.
